Now this is really delightful news for all the fans of How I Met Your Mother TV Show, and especially the fans of Neil Patrick Harris whom we love in the role of Barney Stinson on the show. After much speculation and many names having been suggested for hosting the ceremony which is to take place in Los Angeles on 20th September 2009, Neil has emerged as the official choice for hosting the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards.
Seemingly, the decision was taken after the Emmy bosses watched his impressive performance as the host of the Tony Awards, earlier this year. This How I Met Your Mother co-star received much critical acclaim for the way in which he wowed Broadway’s finest as Mc, during the Tony Awards.
Having already made a name for himself as fantastic actor and performer, Neil took full advantage of the opportunity he got as the host of the prestigious Tony Awards, to blow everyone away. No wonder, the Emmy officials did not want to let go of this shining star from How I Met Your Mother. After all they could not find anyone better to host the television industry’s biggest award show.
Perhaps, what made this years selection of a host for the show even more talent focused for the Emmy officials, was the debacle they had witnessed last year. Neil Patrick Harris to host Award Function

Some time it pays to be a comedian. Even if it does not get you the girl, you at least get to host the Award Function. I know I am not fooling anybody as you already know that I am talking about Barney of How I Met Your Mother, played by Neil Patrick Harris. He has been selected to host this year’s Emmy Awards.
His performance as Mc at the Tony Awards in June not only impressed the Broadway’s finest brains but also Emmy honchos who snapped this talented actor to host one of the biggest and the most sought after award functions.
Harris says of his new job, “After having had such a hoot hosting the Tonys, I was thrilled to get the call about the prime-time Emmys. I’m looking forward to the challenge of the show - adding my own voice to it, while honouring the nominees and the entire year in television. But which voice to choose? I’m torn between gangsta, foppish Brit, and robot. Really proud of my robot. We’ll see what happens on the night.”
The ceremony is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles on 20 September 2009.
Harris achieved immense popularity with his portrayal of Barney on How I Met Your Mother. This is what he has to say about the character he portrays. How I Met Your Mother’s Cobie gets a butterfly Princess

Hello friends! With great happiness and joy I want to tell you that Cobie Smulders, the one who portrays the role of Robin Scherbatsky on ‘How I Met Your Mother’ gave birth to a baby girl on May 16, 2009. The baby is given a very cute name, Shaelyn Cado Killam. The name means butterfly princess.
Shaelyn is her first child with her fiancé Taran Killam. In November, 2008 Cobie announced about her pregnancy and in January, 2009 she got engaged with Taran.
I think stars of How I Met Your Mother have decided to get into the baby boom. It hasn’t been very long time when the actress who portrays the character of Lily Aldrin on How I Met Your Mother, Alyson Lee Hannigan-Denisof, gave birth to a very pretty baby girl, Satyana Denisof. Alyson gave birth to the baby on March 24, 2009, which was Alyson’s birthday.
And now it is Cobie who also followed her footsteps. You will also find this interesting to know that, while the two ladies were pregnant, they often shared their pregnancy tales on the set of the series.
Cobie and Alyson, both are the important as well as most loved characters of the television series How I Met Your Mother. If you talk about my favorite, then I will definitely go with Cobie who portrays Robin. I just love the way she is, innocent and sweet. I really appreciate her portrayal.

Sarah Chalk, better known as Stella, is one of Ted’s girlfriends in our favorite show How I Met Your Mother. She has been well appreciated by TV viewers in the series and CBS Network too doesn’t want to keep her away from their hit TV show, HIMYM.
I am sure her fans would be keen to know about her new project and without wasting a minute, I want to tell you that she is going to entertain you with a different flavor in the form of a new mini series Maneater. This summer is gonna be the coolest one through this dramatic trendy stuff.
Not to worry guys, you will watch your star in her running shows, How I Met your Mother and Scrubs as well. But come on, we cannot expect a versatile and talented actress to stick to one type of role. Rebecca Budig to guest gig on “How I Met Your Mother”

“How I Met Your Mother” is a favorite series of all of us and is currently running into its fourth season. Very soon we will see the actress who recently left “All My Children”, Rebecca Budig on “How I Met Your Mother”. In the CBS hit series, How I Met your Mother, Budig has been offered to do a guest gig, which the actress agreed on very quickly. Probably this is a very good chance for her career and that can be one reason why she quickly grabbed the opportunity.
Not only that, Budig missed her weekend trip on Rock the Soap Cruise, that she had planned to spend with her husband. A source reported that “Rebecca feels bad about missing the cruise, but this is a great gig for her”. I am sure all those people who were expecting to meet Rebecca on the cruise, must have been pretty disheartened. But the she could only be at one place at one time, and I guess that career is some what more important for the lady at the moment.
Though nothing has been clearly mentioned about which episode the actress will be appearing on, but what her role will be like in this small gig, we have information about that. The actress will be playing a character named Holly, a new girlfriend to shows’ leading character Ted played by Josh Randor. Budig’s appearance in the series is actually a pretty good move for her career.
As I have already mentioned that we are not sure about when the episodes will be on air, but get ready to catch up with a new romance for Ted, most likely in one of the season’s final episode.
Hoping that with this gig, we would get to see more of Rebecca Budig and in some regular roles.

How I Met Your Mother, getting near to its title…

The very amazing comedy series ‘How I Met Your Mother‘ is currently running into its fourth season. The last episode of the series was named “Sorry Bro” and it was aired on March 9, 2009. I guess this is something that we all are aware of as I am not ready to believe that there are people who don’t watch this series.
Anyways, ever since the series has been on air we have known that the series is about how the protagonist of the series met his wife. The series begins with Ted Mobsy (played by Josh Radnor), narrating to his children how he met their mother. But not till date have we come to know how Ted met his wife. The creators have taken a long time in order to unravel this story.
The long wait is going to be over soon. The co-creator of the series Carter Bays has said that “At the end of the season, we will address to the title of our show.” Bay has also given additional information that the last four episodes of the fourth season will sum up in an interesting way. He said that “big events in the lives of our characters — specifically Ted (Josh Radnor). We’re going to wrap up some things that have been left dangling.” He further added saying that he will not reveal much about the season that “We’ve left some sentence fragments dangling in past seasons, but this year, there will either be a period, a question mark or an exclamation point. We will be giving the audience that.”
Now this is something really interesting, at-least we all will get a hint of who actually is the mother, if not get to meet her. Well I guess it’s been really long that the fans of ‘How I Met Your Mother’ have been waiting to meet the mother. Cobie and Taran finally announce their engagement

We all are aware of the thing that Cobie Smulders, the actress from ‘How I Met Your Mother’ is pregnant with the child of her boyfriend, Taran Killam. But the latest thing is that the couple has got engaged. Taran and Cobie have been going around for quite some time now.
When asked about some more personal details about her engagement Cobie said that Taran proposed to her while they were on a holiday and that she accepted the proposal. And that was all. She further said that, “That’s personal, but it was very romantic, I’ll tell you that much.”
The couple has no intentions of getting married in the near future. Cobie said that they are right now focusing on the baby which is due this spring. She then added that we will think about marriage when we have a second one. “We’re focused on the baby right now,” so she explains, adding “and when we actually have a second, and then we’ll start thinking about that.” And that, which she refers to here, is the marriage. Now this is called planning.
In the series, ‘How I Met Your Mother’, Cobie plays the role of Robin. She plays one of the leading characters in the series. In the series, she plays news anchor. She has been in an on and off relationship with Ted in the series though she has always believed that she is in love with him.
Anyways, here’s congratulation to the couple for their engagement and hope that we will not have to wait for long for their wedding news.
‘The Stinsons’ the last episode of ‘How I Met Your Mother’

If you guys are a fan of the series ‘How I Met Your Mother’ then I am sure that you saw the episode that aired last night. And if you have missed it then here I am, to give you an outline of what happened last night on your favorite show. But still I will just give you a very vague idea of incidents that happened on the last episode, because I feel that you must and simply must watch this episode. If you ask me then the episode named, ‘The Stinsons’ is one of the best episodes of ‘How I Met Your Mother’ that have come over the past seasons. A very shocking fact about one of the most important character of the series has been revealed.
The episode begins with the gang believing that Barney has a girlfriend and that he is hiding it from the others. In order to come to know the reality, they start following him. And when they follow him they all and even the audiences are shocked to find that Barney is married to someone. Barney has a wife and a child to everyone’s surprise. How come such an important thing about his life has been hidden from everyone since so long? When I was watching the episode, I was like completely stunned and I am sure all others’ reactions would have been the same. And, the next question that stuck my mind was what the next episode of the series would be like. For that we will have to wait till the next week. But this episode was definitely a breath taking one.
Apart, from that I feel that Barney is one character who is liked the most by people and according to an article on TV Squad; he is coolest character on television. They have ranked his character on number two. He plays his character with depth and grace that is what makes a difference. Besides that his love for Robin places him on second position. Now if such an important thing is revealed about the coolest character on television, audiences like me will definitely go crazy. Well, as for now I and many more fans are waiting for Barney’s explanation, for hiding such a big thing from his friends.
